Event: Free Educator Workshop: Flight

Free event for Utah K-12 Educators! 

Explore flight and soaring through the ages, from designs created by Leonardo da Vinci to modern-day aviation. Participants experience first-hand what is necessary for flying through the air viahands-on demonstration of soaring flight and human powered flight.

Special guest Phil Rossoni of the Museum of Science, Boston will be signing copies of his book, Build and Pilot Your Own Walkalong Gliders, and will be demonstrating his unique and fun "walkalong gliders," a hands-on way of teaching the principles of aviation. 

Workshop and discussion from 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Optional session from 6:00pm - 7:00pm: stay and experiment with your own walkalong gliders in our Tinkering Garage.
