Event: Learning the Arduino: Using Sensors

Arduino is an easy-to-use electronics programming system used by artists, designers, and hobbyists. Arduino hardware plays a vital role in our Hylozoic Veil installation! 

Members of the University of Utah School of Computing extend the function of this powerful system by demonstrating how to use Arduino programming to sense and respond to the environment.

This is the second in a series of three workshops designed as a primer to Arduino system. Some prior experience is required for this event.  Participants should either have attended the first workshop in this series “Learning the Arduino: Basic Programming” or be experienced users and fast learners with some knowledge of the C programming language.
