|Event:||Learning the Arduino: Basketball Scoreboard|
|Date:||Saturday, April 13, 2013|
|Time:||2:00 to 4:00 PM|
Arduino is an easy-to-use electronics programming system used by artists, designers, and hobbyists. Arduino hardware plays a vital role in our Hylozoic Veil installation! In this class members of the University of Utah School of Computing extend the function of this powerful system by demonstrating how to use Arduino programming to hack a toy basketball hoop and create an automatic scoreboard.
$15 per person
Suggested for ages 13+
This is the fourth in a series of four workshops designed as a primer to Arduino system. Some prior experience is required for this event. Participants should either have attended the first, second and third workshops in this series “Learning the Arduino: Basic Programming”, “Learning the Arduino: Controlling Sensors” and “Learning the Arduino: Controlling Motors” or be experienced users and fast learners with some experience with Arduino programming.
