BODY WORLDS 3 comes to The Leonardo
The Leonardo is an educational and cultural center fusing science, technology, and the arts in experiences that inspire human potential for creativity and innovation. This fall The Leonardo will bring BODY WORLDS 3 & The Story of the Heart—the biggest exhibit ever to visit the state—to the people of Utah and the Intermountain region.
The Leonardo, Science Center Merge
SALT LAKE CITY, April 28, 2008—The Leonardo announced today that its board of directors has approved a merger with the Utah Science Center Foundation. The merger will be final on July 1, the beginning of the organization’s fiscal year.
The Utah Science Center, YouthCity Artways and Center for Documentary Arts are the original founding partners of The Leonardo, an art and science center being developed for the old main library in downtown Salt Lake City.
Leonardo's Workshop is composed of science-art exhibits, special events, hands-on activities and classes for young people and adults held in community locations throughtout the state.
