The Leonardo Awards Major Art Installation

The Leonardo, Utah’s science-tech-art center, has selected an artistic collaborative to create a major public art installation in the building, which will open to the public April 15, 2011. Brian Brush and Yong Ju Lee, both of New York City, will create an installation, called the “Dynamic Performance of Nature,” that will be both an artistic and architectural feature on The Leonardo’s main floor.
The Leonardo Welcomes Steve and Barb Young as Campaign Co-Chairs

The Leonardo announced today that Steve and Barb Young have joined Scott Anderson and Dinesh Patel as co-chairs of the final leg of the science-tech-art center’s capital campaign. In this role, the Youngs will serve as advisors and supporters to The Leonardo team as they complete the campaign, and open the center to the public next April.
Sorenson Legacy Foundation Donates $600,000 to The Leonardo

The Leonardo announced today that the Sorenson Legacy Foundation has donated $600,000 to the science-tech-art center “in support of programs and exhibits.” “This gift from the Sorenson Legacy Foundation is an important investment in the project, and a major catalyst toward completing the final phase of the capital campaign,” said Peter Giles, The Leonardo’s executive director.
The Leonardo Brings Hands-on Science to Chapman Library
